These terms and conditions explain how the One Achord website may be used and, where relevant, set out the basis on which membership of the choir is offered. By using this website or by joining One Achord as a member, you're agreeing to these terms. If anything here is unclear, just get in touch and we'll happily talk it through.
One Achord is a local ladies choir based in Malpas, with over 50 Years of history — originally founded in 1970 as Malpas Ladies Choir and renamed One Achord in May 2019. References to "we", "us" or "the choir" mean One Achord.
This website is provided to give visitors information about One Achord, our story, our gallery of performances and rehearsals, and a way to get in touch about joining the choir or booking us for an event. You're welcome to browse and share the site, but please don't:
We've done our best to make sure the information on this site is accurate and up to date, but details such as rehearsal times, events and repertoire may change. Please confirm anything time-sensitive with us directly via the contact form.
When you submit an enquiry through our contact form — whether about joining the choir or booking us for an event — you're sending us your details so that we can respond. We'll only use the information you provide to reply to your enquiry. See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle your data.
The Members Area is a password-protected section of the site intended for current One Achord members only. It's used to share music files, practice notes and notices. The password is provided to members directly (please ask at rehearsal if you don't have it) and shouldn't be shared outside the choir. We may update or remove content in the Members Area from time to time without notice.
Membership of One Achord is open to anyone, subject to vacancies. Previous singing experience or the ability to read music is a bonus but isn't required — what matters most is enthusiasm, a willingness to sing in tune, and being happy to work together as part of a group.
If you'd like One Achord to perform at your event, please get in touch via our contact form to discuss availability and details. Any booking is only confirmed once agreed directly between you and the choir.
From time to time we take photographs at rehearsals and performances to share on this website and in our gallery. If you're a member and would prefer not to be featured, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate this.
We try to keep this website accurate, secure and running smoothly, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or completely error-free. We accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website, to the extent permitted by law.
We may update these terms and conditions from time to time, for example if our services or website change. Any updates will be posted on this page.
